Flicco Manager is made by Flicco Games Ltd (company number 17506476), First Floor, Swan Buildings, 20 Swan Street, Manchester M4 5JW, United Kingdom (“we”). This page covers the game at manager.flicco.io. We collect as little as we can. You don’t need an account to play, and we never ask for your real name.
Your club, and its backups
Your club is saved in your browser. So you don’t lose it, the game also backs it up to our servers: the club itself (its players, matches, money and ground), with a random ID and secret the game makes for your device, so only that device can open it. We keep a club’s last ten versions and one copy a day for 30 days.
If you choose to save your progress with your email address, we use it to send you a sign-in code and to link your clubs to your account, so you can carry on from another device. You can delete your account, and every club saved with it, from the game at any time (the cloud button, then “Delete my account”).
Anonymous play counts
To see where new players get stuck and what to make better, the game sends us a few counts: that it opened, that a club was founded, that a match was played or simulated, where a season finished, and how many minutes a visit lasted, with the game’s version and a random ID made in your browser. It’s not linked to your club’s backup, your email or you. There are no tracking cookies and no adverts.
You can turn this off at any time: tap About on your club’s page and switch off Share anonymous play counts. If your browser asks sites not to track you (Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track), the game sends nothing. We keep these counts for up to two years.
Crash reports
If the game goes wrong, it sends us what went wrong (the error and where in the game’s code), the game’s version, the screen you were on and your browser type. To count how many people a problem affects, we keep a scrambled form of your connection’s address that can’t be turned back into it and changes every day. We keep crash reports for up to a year.
Feedback you send
When you send feedback with the speech bubble, we keep the name you give (it needn’t be your real one), your words and score, the screen you were on, a picture of it, a copy of your club (so we can see what you saw) and your browser type. We use it to fix and improve the game, and keep it for up to two years.
If you help us test the controls on our test site, the touch recorder there sends the same way, with your finger’s or mouse’s movements as you draw, your device and browser type, and the name you give. It’s kept as feedback is.
Who else handles data
- Cloudflare runs the site and stores the game’s data; club backups are stored in the European Union.
- Supabase holds accounts (your email address), in the European Union.
- Twilio SendGrid sends the sign-in emails.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks you’re a person before we send a sign-in email.
Some of these companies may handle data outside the UK; where they do, they’re bound by the UK’s approved safeguards. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone else.
Why we can use it
We back up your club and run your account because you ask us to, as part of the game. Play counts and crash reports are in our legitimate interest in making the game work and better, kept anonymous, and you can turn the counts off. Feedback is yours to send or not.
Children
Flicco Manager is a game anyone can enjoy. There are no adverts, no tracking and no chat, and nobody’s asked for their real name. If you’re under 13, ask a parent or carer before saving your progress with an email address.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it or to delete it. Because the counts are anonymous, we may need your club’s name or the email you saved it with to find yours. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
